Creating a resource center for the knowledge of using Sc in Al-alloys

For the last few years I have been involved in a research project on the possibilities of using Sc in aluminum alloys. One of my major problems so far has been that I am the only person in my environment interested in this topic. Several times during the last year I considered the opportunities of using the Internet for getting in touch with other people involved with the same type of research, and I even posted a News-message to make contact. That gave me a few responces, but however I think that the potential of the Net as a medium goes beyond sending a few nice e-mails to each other.

By setting up these pages on the Net I hope to reach even more people. My intent is to keep and maintain a number of pages with useful information, reviews and research results regarding the use of Sc in Al alloys. If you have your own homepage with any related information, I would like to know about it and ask for your permit to put a link to it. If you are involved with related research and would like to be mentioned on these pages you could send me a resume of your current or previous research, list of publications and any other related material, and I can create a web-page of it and keep it on my catalog. I also want to ask for your permit to put your name, address and telephone/fax number on these pages. If you like, I could also keep simple CV's and a picture. I suppose that I also will add links to the university or company where you work.

I hope that this site eventually will become useful for scientists in search of information about this topic. Any input or ideas on the content of these pages will be appreciated. I hope this idea of mine will serve as a means to increase the contact between scientists working in this field.
