Writings
I have written relentlessly since I was able to hold a pen and form letters. What do I write? My ambition is to eventually write a novel, but for now I write only short stories and poems.

I also write very short stories at times at between 100 and 300 words, and post some at my literary blog, Octarine Light. My personal favourite is "Alaric Adair and the Dragon".

There's not much here at the moment, as my poems are usually defended with teeth and nails before anyone can get to them, but I'll survive the embarrassment of letting you read a few - hopefully. I write in both Norwegian and English, though only the English ones are represented here.

Pausing

Like smoke rises from a tea cup
dawn rises towards day
pausing in twilight
pausing in night
as the world holds its breath
take me away
take me away
to those far-away clouds
pausing in night
pausing in twilight
the world holds its breath

A Story

Let my tears paint your skin white
trail your lips in place of my fingers
thoughts too impure to rest on you
yet, they do

Let my tears darken your soft hair
instead of the shadows of my hands
such cowardice as a nocturnal caress
must I suppress

Let the residue of my tears warm you
when all is forgotten, beneath the ice
a dream slipping away in sand
yet, I dream
