The game
After the first bet (‘Ante’) the Bank deals three cards face down, the ‘Pocket cards’. Apart from that, the dealer puts three cards in the middle the table, all face up (Flop). These cards must be used by every player. When players put their second bet, they have to hand in one of their Pocket cards. They will receive another card, face up, in return (Turn card). This new card will also be put in the middle of the table, and therefore, it can be used by all players. The same thing happens with the last card, the fifth one, which is called River card.
Eventually every gambler can use either none, one or two of his Pocket cards to make his winning combination.
