Objective of the game
Players have to obtain the best combination of five cards.

The game
Before starting Five Card Stud Poker, every player puts his bets on the table (‘Ante’). A lot of Banks establish a minimum bet (Low Limit). In the initial round every player is given a closed card (Hole Card) and an open card. The one with the lowest suit has to put his bet first. The order of the suits is: spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs. Once everybody has put his bets, three more cards are given, throughout the next rounds. All of these cards are given face up. Same as in Seven Card Stud Poker, bets can be placed after every round.
At the ‘Show Down’ every player shows his final hand. The one with the best combination, wins Five Card Stud Poker.
