Older, As, Roxanne, If I Told You That...

*OK, I'm lazy. These are links to my old website. I can't be bothered to copy it all over at the moment. Some other time...!*

"Don't Touch Me" w/Hazel O'Connor
Most of you here probably don't even know this video exists. Let alone who Hazel O'Connor is. Apparently she had a musical called "Breaking Glass". As far as I know, she's only been "big" in England/Ireland.

Anyway. I've just talked to her assistant twice. Once at 3pm where I asked her a couple of questions, and about half an hour ago (7pm) when she'd have the answers ready.

The reason why I talked to her? Well, George is in this video. I've seen a copy of a copy of a copy and it's awful quality, but George is in it, and he's acting!

According to Hazel this is the story:
Hazel was a private detective watching George with a girl. While she's watching him she falls in love with him and in her mind she swaps places with this woman so he kisses her instead of his lady friend(anyone recognising Father Figure here??).
She's really watching him because she thinks he's getting violent with the woman, and we see that he picks up a gun. She (Hazel) gets worried, but in the end you see the back of George's head on the floor - this is where I thought he was dead, but he wasn't. (LOL!) He was on the floor with his girlfriend, basically shagging after they both had ended a game where they both got aroused by a TOYGUN! (BTW, George looks rather bloody good in that video!!!)
Hazel feels ashamed and runs away. Video end.
(She SHOULD be ashamed, watching two lovers play a role-game! lol! Just kidding! It's kind of hilarious, if you think about it!)

George and Hazel were great friends around this time (1984) and she was fighting a legal battle (anyone see similarities here??) and she went from her old record company to RCA (now BMG). The director of Club Tropicana is also the producer and director of Don't Touch Me - that's how it all happened.

George was never creditted. It was another one of his "OK, I'll do it, but don't tell anyone!"
Aren't we familiar with those...
