Right. Now, what kind of song will we be hit with this time? All good things come in three, they say, and in this case: Let's hope so. I, for once, thought the "Freeek!" was the new beginning and that musiclovers outside the little clan of nutty George Michael fans (read: will-take-anything-as-long-as-it's-him) would actually pay attention to him. They paid attention, all right. I think "pervert" was the most common word used to describe the song and the video.

With "Shoot The Dog" I knew he would hear it more than once that he was over the edge, but heck, he did what he believed in. When Ari-wanker-Fleisher from The White House said he "should get back in the closet. His music was better when he was", I think it just proved George's point. As Hamlet said: "There's something rotten in the state of Denmark." Well, there's definitely something rotten in the United States of America. I've had my opinion about Bush for a while, and while we were allowed to wait for the real song, I was bored, and wrote my own... lol... Guess I wasn't too far off, now, was I?

Aaaanyway. New single. I think it'll be a ballad. Don't quote me on this, but I don't think George has signed an album deal as of yet, and even though us mentals loved "Freeek!" and "Shoot The Dog" (I have to admit, musically I loved Freeek and liked Shoot The Dog. Great videos tho!), few others seemed to do the same. What happens if George won't release the album if he doesn't have an instant hit? What if this next single doesn't end up at #1 either, and he decides to give the album to friends and family for Christmas instead? (If that happens I'll personally swim to London - as I'm really broke at the moment - and enter the studio and give him a piece of my mind.)

We're hoping for a single for Christmas, at least. Right? How about "Amazing"? Wouldn't that be... amazing? ;-)
