Karlingalas the so-called Chief Bard

Another Balrog Song
(To be sung to "This old man")

This Balrog, he had wings,
big and pointy flappy things,
spread them out and flap them up and down,
that's how it gets off the ground.

This Balrog, he did not,
metaphor is what you've got.
If these wings, the Balrog has'em,
why did it fall down the chasm? (Sorry, appalling rhyme)

If these Balrogs aint got wings,
how'd they get to Gondolin?
Glider, airship, hang onto a kite,
maybe catch a charter flight?

These Balrogs, Morgoth's thrall,
didn't ever fly at all.
Running, moving with velocity,
that's what "flying" means, you see.

This debate, on and on
till all interest is gone,
It will disappear with any luck,
'cos nobody cares at all.

Feel free to add verses, change rhymes, make it good etc.
