History:

The (not so well known in Norway) sport of Rugby came to Oksvoll on the snowy New Years eve of 2001. Just a few boys having a bit of fun kicking an “unusual shaped” ball around. Scott (the trainer) set up a flood light in the field across from his house and a few of the locals even came to join in. The snow was deep and is was a bit of a “mad” game but after that the boys kept asking Scott if he would teach the more about the game and so, in the early spring of 2003 “Fosen Rugby Klubb” was formed. They have come on in “leaps and bounds” since then and have played in many of the major tournaments in Norway, they even travelled to Scotland in April 2005 to take part in the Higland 7’s tournament and recently won the NM 10’s in the early autumn of this year

Scott took the job of Junior National Manager in 2004 and many of the boys have been picked out to play for the national team over the last 2 years, including trips to Luxemburg (U-18) and Finland (U-17)
