Harry Potter Here is the thing: I have a serious addiction to Harry Potter, and I am treating myself to get rid of this addiction. But - as I love sewing, I have made several small attempts on making Harry Potter costumes. This costume is quite a challenge. As I am a costumer on a very strict budget, I had to find a cheap way of getting enaugh fabric. After all - I wanted the robes to look a little exclusive. I found the fabric all right. Two rather small curtains bought second hans. The good thing: They cost 20 kr (less than 2£). The bad thing: they were far too small. My solution was to cut the fabric into pieces before sewing them together to fit the pattern as good as possible. By now, the body of the robes consists of more than fourty pieces of very easily unraveling fabric. The pattern is an ordinary fitted a-line kirtle pattern, but I have made some pretty big sleeves. 04-05-03
