THE QUESTION: Here's the basics.... when you are in APC fingered mode, with the synch and the Left part turned OFF, you will hear a bass note and the sound of an electric piano if you strike a chord to the left of the split point. I know that in the Other Parts CHRD you can adjust the volume of this Elec piano. I also know that you can go into the Sound Arranger to adjust it's volume & other effects. Now the question.... Is there any way to change the actual voice of this Elec Piano to say, Strings? I do know that if you turn on the Left part and select a Strings voice for that part, then the Electric Piano sound will disappear. But it seems odd that there is no way to go in and alter the voice/sound for this "CHRD" part. Or is there? Tom G.

| It works quite easily. Press Sound - Press Part Select - Use the arrows to go to Chord - then simply Select a sound. Now SET it into the Panel Memory and of course save it to disk. Unfortunately you have just replaced the Electric Piano on that one Panel Memory. You have to do it to all the others if you want to get rid of the default setting. Frank Bez |
