A
very special thank you to Kaz
for helping me with this translation
I made this tutorial, because I was asked so many times
how I made this kind of background. It is very easy, and
all you need is your PSP and som styled lines.I have added
the styled lines I have used in the zip. you can download
here.
Add them to the folder you have, called Styled lines in
PSP.
Let us start! *S*
1. Open a new image 100x100 transparent. Flood fill
with a colour you like, in this case I have used #D7B889.
2.Then click on View>change grind and guide
properties. Use these settings:
Then View, Grind
Now zoom in 3 times to make it much larger, now
it looks a little strange, but I promise you
it will be much easier to work with :-)
3. Add a new layer, Then find a colour a little
darker than the one you filled your image
with, I have used #B79E76. With Draw tool
and the settings below you draw lines down
your image. Use the grind and the coordinations
you find in the left corner of your screen
to get the lines in the right place. Start
at 5,0 and all the way down the image, then
25,0 and down, then 45,0 and down, then 65,0
and down, and 85,0 and down.
Now Effects>Blur>Gaussian Blur type
2,5
4.
Add a new layer, use an even darker colour
this time, I have used #8B734D in this expamle.
With draw tool once more , change width
to 1, and click on your drop-down menu to
find the styled line you downloaded use
ir-sting. Still use the Gind and draw lines
at the same coordinatins as above. Hold
the shift button down as you draw, then
they will allways turn out straight :-)
This is what you should have by now:
5. In the end add som hearts, stars
or anything you want to your new country
background. Use preset shapes, width
1 and the ir-quiltsting . Use the settings
below.
Make a little heart or what ever
you want, with two colours of your
choise then Objects>Align>Centre
in canavas. Your heart should now
be placed in the center, then Layers>Convert
to Raster layer. Now Edit>copy,
and then Edit>Past>Past as
new selection, Place two more hearts
in your image, like this:
Click om Layers>Merge>All
flatten, and then save as
jpg or bmp.
You
are finished, I hope you have
enjoyed this tutorial!
