Jamaican culture

Claude McKay was the first to write about Jamaican identity and the African heritage in the beginning of the 20th century, and in the 1930s some magazines emerged, which contributed to the literary prosperity of Jamaica. But to most of us, the best-known parts of Jamaican culture are their music and their voodoo. And when we’re talking about music and Jamaica, the name Bob Marley unconsciously pops into ones mind, a topic that was my main purpose with this website :-) Click here for Bob Marley
