Av Bjørnsletta (N) is a small breed of Norwegian Forest Cats. 

It all started with Turbo !

Turbo was born 21^st of April 1984 on a farm.  I got her when she was 8 weeks old.

In 1986 she was recognized as a Norwegian Forest Cat and went to her first show at the age of 3, she behaved perfectly ! She was the start of my breed.

Since then there has been some cats that will be presented to you in our gallery.

My main goal is to breed strong and healthy, nice tempered, cats.  The Norwegian Forest Cat is a big cat, and it is our job to breed right. Let’s hope we manage to keep our national cat the monument it should be for the cat-family. Let’s cooperate for this all over the world.

Cats from us are of course delivered with all papers, vacinations and leave home when they are at least 12 weeks old.

Our cats are a part of our family and lives all over the house.  We live on an irland outside of Oslo, so they can also go out hunting mice.   Our kittens are used to people and kids and are very secure of themselves.

I’m a member of NRR, Adelkatten og Norsk Skogkattring.  For many years I have been in the board for Adelkatten and Norsk Skogkattring.  Now I have just taken a break to concentrate on family and job, but I’ll be back !
