ABOUT MANET

The Manet (jellyfish) was born a few months after kaada/pattons - Romances release in late 2004. I was so inspired to make similar music that I started my own project/band. It started as a "I want to copy Kaada and mike patton", but that didn't work out so well.. Instead I kind of got my own sound (maby it was the MIDI ? :P). The reason why I use ""french"" in some of the songs is that I also listened to "Serge Gainsburg - comicstrip" when I made the songs. In may 2005 one of my songs got "recommend" by the norwegian website for unsigned artists "Urørt". That was quite unexpected. I'm currently working on some new stuff (read blog)! I'm not in a hurry so this may take years.

INSTRUMENTS:
Epiphone Les Paul Custom (white), Ibanez RG7420, Ibanez acoustic guitar, Morgan travel steel-string guitar, Kazoo, Harmonica (A), CPU-cooler (Zalman ZM-47J), Bongo drum, MIDI-keyboard.

I'm aware of that there was a painter called "Edouard Manet". This has nothing to do with him. Manet is jellyfish in english. I chose Manet because it sounds better than jellyfish.
