| TOA vs. Shaolin

This is based on what my Master Naser Kaderpour has told me. He doesn't speak 100% norwegian, so there might be some wrong facts or something, which I've misunderstood.

What's the difference between Kung-fu TOA and Kung-fu Shaolin?

Because of the many stiles you train in TOA, such as the eagle and the lion, it takes a lot of stamina, strength and speed. This is important because you want to copy the capabilites of these animals.
Those who want to train on a more serious level, train at least 3 hours a day. When you've trained for some time, the training contains more than the physical: it also includes yoga and meditation. And even further: hypnoses!
A correct diet is important if you want to become really good in Kung-fu. In Kung-fu TOA we have directions for this:
* You shall not enjoy alcohol. The excetption is red wine which is good for your blood circulation.
* Eat a lot of vegetables and white meat such as fish and chicken. This helps building your muscles.

Kung-fu TOA focuses a great deal on the fighting. Kung-fu Shaolin is more like a dance. There's some varieties on how the Kung-fu was "invented", but the general idea is that the first who started with Kung-fu, was the monks in the Shaolin temple. For several hundred years the monks kept it as a secret. The first person who brought it to the west was the famous Bruce Lee. Despite of many protest from the Chinese Kung-fu society. Some of these attitudes is still found.
Shaolin does not want that other styles, such as TOA, should get popular. Many people who's training Shaolin has tried to "convert" Naser.

TOA, on the other side, respects all kinds of sport, and want to inform everybody about Kung-fu.
Some of the philosophy is that you should have respect for other people, training and your good health.  You should also have a plan for you life and learn how to help other people!
