For this tutorial you need

PSP 8 (you can get a demo here)

VM Natural Filter (you can get it here)

Simple Filter (you can get it here)

1. Open a new image, 200 x 200 pixels transparent.

2. Floodfill with the gradient you want. For this tutorial I used "Landscape Night"

3. Effects - Plugins - VM Natural - Ripper like this

4. Effects - Plugins - Simple - 4 Way Average

And VOILA you have a great background you can use both in stationarys and on webpages.
