NORWEGIAN CHAMPIONSHIP, HAMAR 18-18 MARCH 2006
The last race of the season is over. We raced the 6-dog class middistanse and finished first! The team ran in to the third championship victory this season and we are very proud of our dogs performance.

SCANDINAVIAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP, HAMAR NORWAY 24-26 FEBRUARY 2006
The Scandinavian Championship was our main gold this season and I was really nervous prior to the race. Because of Alpentrail I did not race on Gåsbu, Hamar in January and I did not know how my team was compeared to the others. But as the race started I was more confident that my team was fit for the race. The dogs seamed to be in the best shape ever and we had a blast. The dogs were barking on the finishline the last day after their fastest run ever. The best victory of the season.

EUROPEAN CHAMPIONCHIP MID DISTANSE,VASSIEUX EN VERCORS FRANCE 10-12 FEBRUARY 2006
We did not plan to go to the EC this year, but when they moved the event to France we packed our dog truck for a second trip down Europe. It payd of with three beautiful racedays on the wonderful dogtrack of Vassieux, and the best of all of course the gold medal!!
I raced in the limited class with my Alpentrail team and the dogs performed well all days.

Første dag EM i Vassieux, Frankrike

ALPEN-TRAIL, SWITZERLAND AND ITALY 13-21 JANUARY 2006
The Alpentrail was the great challenge of the season. We had never been to a stagerace before and never raced in the alps. It turn out to be a the most spectacular dograce for both me and the dogs. It was hard, steep and crazy, but at the same time a lot of fun. We raced in the 8-dog class and finished third. It was a great experience for us and we got to meet some very nice people and to race some very nice trails. We hope that we can come back to the Alpentrail next year.
The dogs: Zappa, Bobolina, Brille, Plet, Bie, Romeo, Brom, Tine. Bobolina and Romeo ran all stages, Boblina every day in lead.
