The 20th of June I visited Rudi Ropertz kennel and left Lone and Luca there. Marlies and Rudi had four litters of puppies all born at the same week as our L-litter. Luca and Lone enjoyd the company of 28 puppies and the 30 puppies (all at the same age) ran and played well on the field and puppie play ground. Rudi and Marlies wanted to keep 12 puppies from their own breeding in addition to Lone and Luca.

5 weeks old puppies

Saturday the 10th of June we made the decision to put Lissi to sleep. She was only 7 weeks old and struggled to keep up with her littermates. She was in bad shape and her headinjury was incurable. The rest of the puppies are wonderful and their names are: Lester, Loon, Luke, Larissa, Lea, Luca and Lone. I will put out pictures of each of them. I will drive down to Rudi Ropertz with two of the females next week.

The 20th of April Plet got 10 puppies, 5 males and 5 females. One male was very week and we had to put him down after 3 days, he was only loosing weight and did not eat. After 4 weeks we had a terrible accident; Plet killed one of the males and injured one of the females. We don`t know what happened, but Plet was very stressed. We discussed it with our veterinarian and decided to take the puppies away from their mother. From 4-6 weeks we raised them in our house with another female (Turbo Jill) but still fed them with Plet (under supervison). At 6 weeks we put them back in their pen. The female that got hurt has been examined by our vet without finding any major damage, only little swollen on her head. But she is not feeling well, and not growing as her littermates, she sleeps all the time and seem upset. We are thinking of putting her to sleep. The rest of the puppies seem very happy and healthy and are very well socialized. Their alternative childhood doesn`t seem to affect them in any negative direction.
