did you know..

• He was born in Moscow 16th October 1968

• Ilia and his family moved soon to Vladivostok in east, near China, North Korea and Japan, where he grew up

• He began singing in childrens choir at a early age and got used to the touring-life

• At 11 years old, he started his first band called Bunny Pee

• But his family said that it would be better if he started thinking of going to the university instead of beeing a rockstar

• He bought expencive records of Genesis and Pink Floyd to find inspiration

• In the 80's, Mumiy Troll was born, but still it was just a hobby for the bandmembers

• In the 90's they started focusing on their carriers, but still played together 

• Ilia graduated from the Far East University, where he had studied chinese economy and litteratur

• He lived then in China some years, but moved later to London, where he lives today with his family (wife Elena, and son Igor)

• Also got an own record-company called Utekay Records where Mumiy Troll, Zemfira etc gives out their records

• One time he was a vegetarian for 18 months

• He likes books of the japanese author Haruki Murakami, and especially the book called 'Norwegian Wood'

• "Sdwig" was born 11th December 1968

• Have played in the group Tretia Strazha (Third Guard) in Vladivostok

• He got known with Ilia when they was doing their common hobby for many years ago; Skateboarding

• Tretia Strazha performed in 1990 on the same concert as Mumiy Troll and Tumanniy Ston (Foggy groan), all from Vladivostok

• Eugene joined the recording of MT's  second album Delay UU (Make love)

• In 1993 he played in the group Tumanniy Ston, that's hard punkrock

• At the autumn 1996 he accepted Leo Burlakov (MT's manager) offer, and joined MT again

• That was a difficult choice for Sdwig, but good for us MT-fans he did the right choice ;)

• He's educated as data-designer

• Yuri was born May 22th in Pervouralsk in Sverdlovsk

• His father was a jazz-musician and his mother a laboratorie-assistant on a factory

• They said he had to study, or else he would also become a musician

• He loves word-games and fooling around, and it's difficult to know if he really mean things he say or not

• He hates pure whiskey

• Played in Ptitca ZU (ZU fugl), but after their bassist died, the group was dissolved and he moved to Moscow

• Thanks to I. Kormittsev, who took guitar-classes of Yuri, he got an offer he couldn't resist; to work with Mumiy Troll
