Dr. Billiam is a small, cheerful-looking Jedi sage with hairy feet and a (non-tobacco) pipe that he mainly uses for pointing out items of interest. Being a phantasm, he hovers some two metres in the air. Apart from his career as an academic author, little else is yet known of him.
Karlingalas was browsing through a volume entitled Teuncy Numbers: The Spice Of Mathematics Or Simply Impossible To Imagine? when a bookmark fell out and the unquiet spirit of the book's author was once more released, having been trapped inside for a century. Billiam's gratitude went almost unnoticed as the spell of the library and the struggle with Lord Adam took up most of everyone's attention, and as far as anyone knows he and his book remained in the library when most of the party escaped by one route or another.
