STORY: Prologue
Before launching into the narrative it is worth our while to recapitulate the history of TEUNC.
The original Teuncers left the land of Alfantol in search of a place they could call their own, and Castle Hare was built. Under the rule of Rabbyt the Elf-Queen, such luminaries as Kazul the Sky-Blue Floating Etc. Etc. Dragon, Lord Adam of the Psychos (and his alter ego Darth Pakh), Zorag the Zorag, Lord Graham of the Locked Wood and the knight Paganini fought, feasted, flirted and so forth. One day, however, there was a revolution (of sorts), Rabbyt left, Castle Hare was demolished and the settlement that grew up amid its ruins was named Balrog Cuttings. It is only fair to say that this change in government and abode was not universally popular: some, such as Arkady Bogdanov, rejoiced in it; while others, such as Paganini and Zorag, were dismayed.
At the point where we begin, many of the founder members had either departed completely or lapsed into quiescence: Graham, Kazul, Adam, Zorag and of course Rabbyt all fell into this category.
